All I can say is WOW! This backsplash is the perfect finishing touch for my DIY kitchen upgrade. I was able to upgrade my kitchen (minus appliances) for under $2,100 which included having the backsplash professionally installed ($750). I was not bold enough to attempt that but did everything else. This particular backsplash makes the stainless steel appliances pop and the kitchen shines even at night with no light.I was nervous at first, thinking it was too flashy, but It works perfect. Most importantly my wife loves it!The cabinets were stained with Generals Java Gel Stain ($43) and the hardware was $2 for each handle (home depot). I also added soft closing hinges for the cabinets ($3.12 each - Blumotion Hinge Adapter, Compact W/ Spacer ). Without appliances, the whole renovation was around $2,100.Contractors have mistaken this for a $10,000+ upgrade.
